You can switch to parking mode at any time as soon as the vehicle is parked. When switching to parking mode, the app also points out the costs of the parking tariff. Please note that when activating the parking mode, the car will be locked.

In the event that you have forgotten to set the parking mode and all conditions are met (ignition off, windows / doors closed), the car will be automatically put into parking mode after about two to five minutes. However, billing in parking mode is based on the price per minute.

After about 20 more minutes without action, the rental is automatically terminated in the app, provided that the car is in the MILES business area.

You can either create a PayPal account by jumping out of the app or save an already existing PayPal account. For example, you can simply let us guide you through the linking process when you make your first booking in the hvv switch app. Once a PayPal account has been created, it can be managed in your account at any time.

With MILES, you can refuel cars that are travelling with a fuel level of less than 25% via the hvv switch app - and it's easy to do digitally. To ensure that MILES covers the refuelling costs, you can only use the petrol stations shown on the map in the hvv switch app. Select a petrol station on the map and start the refuelling process via the hvv switch app. Please note: With hvv switch, refuelling processes are not reimbursed.

If your rental cannot be completed due to a low fuel level (less than 5%), please contact MILES customer service directly on (030) 8379-5103.

  • Find a Voi e-scooter near you using the hvv switch app or scan the QR code on an e-scooter in front of you to view all the details about the e-scooter. You can open the camera for scanning by clicking on the QR code icon on the dashboard and allowing the camera to be used.
  • Put one foot on the running board, put your hands on the handlebars and push your foot three to four times to get going.
  • Put both feet on the running board when you're ready to accelerate and start your ride.
  • Use the right lever to gain speed and the handbrake to slow down.
  • Please, note that the new eScooters do not have a rear foot brake. Brake when going downhill.
  • Do not exceed the speed limit of 20km/h.

  • Unlock the connection with the charging card from the car. Depending on the provider's vehicle model, you will find the charging card in the car's center console, in the glove compartment or under the windscreen, or in the respective logbook for cambio cars.
  • Then hold the card up to the reader at the charging station to activate it.
  • Check which charging station you are standing in front of. Some charging points already have a cable. If there is no cable, use the cable from the trunk.
  • Now connect the cable to the charging port and the car.
  • After a successful connection, a corresponding message appears on the display of the charging station. Don't forget to put the charging card back in its place in the car and you're done!

MILES

You always start the charging process via the app. To do this, you must be at the car and near an available charging station.
If the charging process (depending on the charging station) requires a charging cable from the car, you will find it in the trunk. Select the desired charging station and start the charging process by clicking "Start charging". Now decide on an available charging connection. You will find the charging port number on the charging station.

Charging at the standard charging station (with its own cable in the trunk):

  • First connect the cable to the car.
  • In the next step, confirm whether the charging station is open. If the port does not open, select a new charging port.
  • As soon as the port is open, connect the cable to the charging station (please make sure that the charging cable is already correctly plugged into the car).
  • Now you can start the process by clicking on "Charge now".
  • After a successful check of the charging status, the charging process is started and you can now return to the current rental by clicking "Okay".
  • If you no longer wish to use the vehicle, simply end your current rental by clicking "End rental".

Charging at the quick charging station (integrated cable at the charging station):

  • Connect the charging pole cable to the car.
  • After the charging status has been successfully checked, the charging process is started and you can now return to the current rental by clicking "Okay".
  • If you no longer want to use the vehicle, simply end your current rental by clicking "End rental".

You can cancel your hvv switch account via the link “Cancel hvv switch account” in your profile or by using our contact form on the website. Alternatively, you can cancel your entire account by sending an email to info@hvv-switch.de. Please write “Cancel hvv switch account” in the subject line of your email. If you decide to cancel your hvv switch account, we will automatically close any accounts you have with our partners.

If you want to use hvv switch and its services again, you can re-register at any time and reactivate the relevant services.
