No, unfortunately not. Taking animals on board MOIA shuttles isn’t permitted, for the sake of protecting any fellow passengers with allergies. MOIA only makes an exception in the case of guide dogs. These dogs are allowed on board provided their owners have an additional belt or harness to strap them in securely. The shuttle can only proceed if this belt or harness is placed around the dog before the start of the journey and its leash is inserted into the buckle.
FAQ
Your current tickets and bookings can be found at the top of your dashboard in the hvv switch app. You can access an overview of all your bookings and tickets under the usage history menu. Please note that you won’t have access to the detailed view of past bookings and tickets that are no longer valid. Please also note that only those tickets are displayed that you’ve purchased using the hvv switch app. It’s not connected to any other hvv account.
With a rented carsharing car, you may also park outside the business area. Outside the business areas and in car parks, you must comply with the same regulations as with your private vehicle and pay the charges yourself. Please note that the rental fee for the car continues to run and the corresponding costs are incurred.

- Unlock the connection with the charging card from the car. Depending on the provider's vehicle model, you will find the charging card in the car's center console, in the glove compartment or under the windscreen, or in the respective logbook for cambio cars.
- Then hold the card up to the reader at the charging station to activate it.
- Check which charging station you are standing in front of. Some charging points already have a cable. If there is no cable, use the cable from the trunk.
- Now connect the cable to the charging port and the car.
- After a successful connection, a corresponding message appears on the display of the charging station. Don't forget to put the charging card back in its place in the car and you're done!
MILES
You always start the charging process via the app. To do this, you must be at the car and near an available charging station.
If the charging process (depending on the charging station) requires a charging cable from the car, you will find it in the trunk. Select the desired charging station and start the charging process by clicking "Start charging". Now decide on an available charging connection. You will find the charging port number on the charging station.
Charging at the standard charging station (with its own cable in the trunk):
- First connect the cable to the car.
- In the next step, confirm whether the charging station is open. If the port does not open, select a new charging port.
- As soon as the port is open, connect the cable to the charging station (please make sure that the charging cable is already correctly plugged into the car).
- Now you can start the process by clicking on "Charge now".
- After a successful check of the charging status, the charging process is started and you can now return to the current rental by clicking "Okay".
- If you no longer wish to use the vehicle, simply end your current rental by clicking "End rental".
Charging at the quick charging station (integrated cable at the charging station):
- Connect the charging pole cable to the car.
- After the charging status has been successfully checked, the charging process is started and you can now return to the current rental by clicking "Okay".
- If you no longer want to use the vehicle, simply end your current rental by clicking "End rental".

Unfortunately, not! To ride with your companion, he or she should also download the hvv switch app and register to rent a Voi e-scooter with their own hvv switch account.
Please contact hvv switch customer service with your specific request. We will then review whether it’s possible to grant you a refund and, if appropriate, we will reimburse you for any excess payments you’ve made.
Please wait until the relevant authority sends you a payment request directly. The authority that issues the request will obtain your contact details from the owner of the car sharing vehicle in order to identify the car sharing customer who was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the traffic offence. The document you will receive by post contains all the information you need to settle the payment request.
SIXT share & Free2Move
You will also be charged a handling fee by SIXT share, which will be settled via hvv switch using the method of payment used for the original booking. Of course, you will also be sent a receipt for this transaction by e-mail as usual.
MILES
The authority first sends MILES the ticket. As soon as you have been identified as a driver, MILES will forward this to the authority. You will then receive the ticket from MILES by e-mail. The original will be sent to you by the fine office by post.
The ticket must be transferred directly to the authority. In addition, MILES will charge you a processing fee, which we will debit from your deposited payment method.
e-Scooter
Also in the case of Voi, it may be that a fine is levied for an administrative offence. They will then come to you. The cost of additional fees can be found here.
If you receive a parking ticket and you don’t think it is justified, your best option is to contact the sender of the ticket, i.e. the issuing authority, directly.
