Once you have registered, open the MOIA function. You can then either use GPS to locate yourself or enter your desired pick-up point and destination. You can then request the ride. You may be asked to save additional data required for the booking in the app: To book a MOIA shuttle, you must confirm your e-mail address, enter your first and last name, a mobile phone number and a means of payment.

If all requirements are met and a MOIA shuttle is available, you will receive a ride offer. Before making a paid booking, you will receive all the important information, i.e. the radius of the stop and where the shuttle will take you near your destination. You will also receive the arrival time and a price. If you agree to this, you can make a binding booking for your journey. The final boarding point will be displayed after you have successfully booked. After the ride, we will deduct the costs from your deposited means of payment.

  • Find a Voi eScooter near you via the hvv switch app and scan the QR code to see all the details about the e-scooter. You can open the camera for scanning by clicking on the QR code icon on the dashboard and allowing the camera to be used.
  • Put one foot on the running board, put your hands on the handlebars and push your foot three to four times to get going.
  • Put both feet on the running board when you're ready to accelerate and start your ride.
  • Use the right lever to gain speed and the handbrake to slow down.
  • Please, note that the new eScooters do not have a rear foot brake. Brake when going downhill.
  • Do not exceed the speed limit of 20km/h.

Unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer you a refueling or recharging function within the app.

Refueling

If you urgently need fuel for your car, e.g. to get back to the business area, the fuel costs have to be paid privately. After the trip, send the receipts to sixtshare-hvv@sixt.com with the booking number, license plate number and bank account details. After successful verification, the fuel costs will be reimbursed by SIXT share.

Important for you to know: Refueling as well as charging is not incentivized with hvv switch by e.g. free minutes or similar.

Charging

You can charge the SIXT share cars with the charging card in the car or the chip on your key ring. How exactly this works, you can find out here.

To use the car sharing services, you must present a valid ID document and a valid driving license (class B) in card format. We accept driving licenses issued in the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland. Either a passport or an EU identity card can be used as an identification document for validation.

You can cancel your hvv switch account via the "Cancel hvv switch account" link in your profile or by using our contact form on the website. Alternatively, you can also cancel your entire account by sending an email in text form to info@hvv-switch.de. Please state "Cancellation of hvv switch account" in the subject line of your e-mail.

Re-activation of the cancelled service is possible at any time as long as the terms and conditions are respected. If you decide to cancel your hvv switch account, we will automatically cancel the accounts you have with our partners.

Depending on the smartphone used, it can take up to 30 seconds for the current location to be determined when the location services are activated. So if you see this error message in the tariff area, your location has not yet been determined by the smartphone's location services. This can be prevented by permanently activating the location services or by allowing an appropriate amount of time to elapse between starting the app, including activating the location services, and starting your journey.

If you transfer your hvv subscription to the hvv switch app, the subscription on the hvv Card is automatically cancelled. Your card loses its validity.
In the hvv switch app the Deutschlandticket is immediately available and can be used immediately.
