The hvv switch app only shows you cars that can be booked via the hvv switch app. Since vehicles from other providers, such as Dorfstromer, are also legally allowed to park at hvv switch points, it is possible that cars may be parked at hvv switch points but not shown in the app.

You can always change your name via your profile. Please note that if the Deutschlandticket was purchased via the hvv switch app, the name will be updated automatically when the ticket is issued for the following month.
If a driver's license validation exists, the name change will initially lead to the validation being revoked.
In this case, you can simply carry out a new validation with your updated ID document in order to be able to use the services requiring a driving license again without restriction.

If this happens you can enter your mobile number again in your profile or account in the hvv switch app. When you press Save, a confirmation code will be sent again. You can also opt to have a new code sent by SMS on the page where you’re required to enter the code.
When you register with hvv switch, you create a new account that you can use alongside your existing account. The two accounts are independent of each other and can only be used to book services with the respective provider. With hvv switch, you have the advantage that your account offers standard access to several providers on one platform.

After selecting a car from a particular car sharing provider in the app, the service region will be shown on the map with a blue line denoting the outer limit. Any zones where parking is prohibited are shown in red.
