Of course, children can also travel on the MOIA. Therefore, special prices apply for families and children.

If your child needs a child seat or booster seat, open the app and select your starting point and destination. The page will then open where you can specify the number of people. If you open the "Booking options for children" section, you can book a child seat and/or booster seat there free of charge.

MOIA asks you to refrain from eating inside MOIA vehicles, in order to keep the shuttles clean and avoid annoying fellow passengers with the smell of food. Of course, you’re allowed to drink at any time. However, please note that the consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted on MOIA shuttles.

Once in the Car Return area of the SIXT station, please take the car key out of the glove compartment, end the rental as usual using the app and then lock the car afterwards using the car key. Please return the car key to the key safe or hand it in at the SIXT counter.

SIXT stations are not marked separately on the map in the hvv switch app. Please therefore make sure you know the address of the station you want to return the vehicle to before you start your journey if you want to end the rental at a SIXT station. When you arrive at a particular station you can then follow the Car Return signs.

Please note that if you drop off your car at a SIXT station, you will be charged an additional fee by SIXT share. The rates for this can be found in the SIXT share rate overview. Please also be aware that not all SIXT share rates are valid when using hvv switch. Only the functionalities of the connected partner services offered in the app can be booked using the hvv switch mobility platform.

No. Once a booking has been confirmed it will remain active, even if the app is closed. Active bookings will be clearly displayed on the dashboard when you reopen the app.

3D Secure is a security technology for credit or debit card payments on the Internet. It is an authentication procedure that is used to verify the identity of a buyer and prevent fraud in high-risk transactions. For example, the credit or debit card owner assigns a password within the procedure, which must also be entered for credit or debit card transactions. The security procedure is called "Visa Secure (formerly Verified by Visa)" at Visa, "IdentityCheck (SecureCode)" at Mastercard and "SafeKey" at American Express. The 3-D Secure capability of your credit or debit card is a mandatory requirement for use within the hvv switch app.

TIER: Yes, the TIER e-scooters are insured and have liability insurance. We will only charge you for damage up to a certain amount. You can find out about other costs here.

Voi: In Germany, Voi maintains a motor vehicle liability and accident insurance for users. The insurance is provided by Zego (Zego B.V. 78746930). The cost of the insurance cover is automatically included in the cost of hiring a Voi e-scooter - users do not need to take out or pay for the insurance cover separately. The insurance cover is subject to the conditions and limits stated in the policy.

You always start the loading-finishing process via the app.

After you have started the rental, you can complete the charging process by clicking "End charging".

After successfully checking the charging status, first disconnect the charging cable from the car. Depending on the type of charging station, the charging cable may also need to be disconnected from the station and stowed back in the trunk.

After successful completion of the charging process, you return to the current rental via "Okay" and can now drive off.

Important note: During the charging process, the car may lock itself.
