Charging
You can charge the Free2move e-cars with the charging card in the car. You can find out exactly how to do this here.
Refueling
If you urgently need fuel for your car, e.g. to get back to the business area, the fuel costs must be paid privately. Send the receipts to hallo@free2move.com after the journey, stating the booking number, license plate number and account details. After successful verification, the fuel costs will be reimbursed by Free2move. However, the check may take some time - please be patient.
Important for you to know: Charging and refueling cars at hvv switch is not incentivized by e.g. free minutes or credits or similar.
It’s not that big a deal. So don’t worry. All you have to do is book a new shuttle using the hvv switch app. At the moment, you aren’t charged anything if you book a MOIA shuttle and then end up miss-ing it.
Yes. The maximum load limit for an eScooter is 100 kg. Keep in mind that this includes any personal belongings you may be carrying with you.
The vehicle registration document is located in the glove compartment of SIXT share, Free2move & cambio cars.
For administrative reasons, no copies of the vehicle registration document are stored in MILES cars. If necessary (e.B. at a police check) they will be provided by email.
3D Secure is a security technology for credit or debit card payments on the Internet. It is an authentication procedure that is used to verify the identity of a buyer and prevent fraud in high-risk transactions. For example, the credit or debit card owner assigns a password within the procedure, which must also be entered for credit or debit card transactions. The security procedure is called "Visa Secure (formerly Verified by Visa)" at Visa, "IdentityCheck (SecureCode)" at Mastercard and "SafeKey" at American Express. The 3-D Secure capability of your credit or debit card is a mandatory requirement for use within the hvv switch app.
You must be at least 18 years old to use a eScooter. Children are not allowed on a TIER eScooter!
PSD2 (Payment Services Directive 2) is an EU directive regulating payment services and payment service providers. PSD2 explained simply: From 14.09.2019, a two-stage verification will help customers to pay securely on the internet. In future, a single password will no longer be sufficient. In the meantime, you will need two or more authentication factors from different categories when making payments or other "activities with a risk of fraud".
For example, a combination of password and fingerprint is conceivable, or a PIN linked to the smartphone. But PIN and TAN are also a valid combination. Your bank decides on the necessity and type of the second authentication. In connection with payment data and payments in our hvv switch app, it can therefore happen that two steps are necessary in the payment process or in the deposit process of a payment type, in which the bank ensures your identity and authorises the transaction. The verification is integrated in the payment process or in the deposit process of a payment method.
Free2move cars are covered by liability insurance. In the event of an accident, the excess in the event of a claim is 1,000 euros.

With the hvv switch charging infrastructure, there is no time limit for the charging process.
