The most sinkable venue in Hamburg.

"The harbour, the ships" are part of the heart of St. Pauli. Hans Albers, the artist behind Hamburg's most famous song "auf der Reeperbahn nachts um halb eins", already sang this. So it makes sense that you can also find a slice of the neighbourhood nightlife there - on the ships in the harbour: on the barge Hedi. Instead of showing tourists the most interesting corners of the harbour, Frau Hedi's Tanzkaffee is sometimes a floating disco, sometimes a floating concert hall that invites you to shake a leg on the Elbe.
The first guests came on board 20 years ago. Since then, the Hedi has been an integral and special part of Hamburg's nightlife culture. And with a constantly changing programme: sometimes bands play, sometimes there is a reading or a games evening and many Hamburg DJs and clubs regularly come to the party boat for a guest performance.
If you're worried about your seaworthiness, you can relax: At every event, the Hedi docks once an hour at its regular berth on the inner edge of Landungsbrücke 10 for boarding and disembarking. In between, she travels different routes through Hamburg harbour. The later the evening, the cheaper the price. It is reduced from the third departure onwards and drops again for the last departure.
The barge has room for 91 people. And as a true Hamburg institution, it fears neither wind nor weather and is in use all year round. In bad weather, the deck is covered and the interior is heated in cold weather. So put on your dancing shoes and cast off!
