How to use SHARE NOW with hvv switch:

• Activate your driver's license once in the hvv switch app.
• Choose a car in our app that you can reserve for up to 20 minutes free of charge.
• You can open the reserved car via the app. Then all you have to do is get in and drive off.
• Using the car costs from just 9 cents per minute.
• To end your journey, simply park in the SHARE NOW business area in Hamburg. You can then simply end the rental via the hvv switch app.
• With hvv switch, you can rent SHARE NOW cars at any time. And without having to create an extra account with SHARE NOW.

Prerequisite for use:

• You are at least 18 years old and have a valid class B driver's license (at least one year in possession of a valid driver's license).
• You must activate your driver's license once in our app.
• You must of course provide detailed information about yourself, choose a payment method (e.g. PayPal, credit card or SEPA direct debit, hvv M - the mobility budget) and accept our SHARE NOW terms and conditions and data protection regulations.
• You must define a PIN in our hvv switch app.

This can all be done very easily and quickly via our app.

The SHARE NOW business area
The business area in Hamburg includes the center of Hamburg and other parts of the city. It stretches from the airport in the north to the Elbe bridges and even to Harburg in the south of Hamburg. The business area extends from Groß-Flottbek in the west to Tonndorf (east). You can find detailed information here: SHARE NOW business area.

You can also find SHARE NOW cars throughout Germany in Berlin and Munich, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

The service times of SHARE NOW
You can rent SHARE NOW vehicles spontaneously and at any time. There are no restrictions here.

Your SHARE NOW fleet
With the hvv switch app and SHARE NOW, you can rent both combustion and electric cars from BMW, MINI, FIAT, Peugeot Opel and Citroen, for example. You can view all vehicles at SHARE NOW.

Taxes & protection

• All taxes as well as fully comprehensive and theft protection are already included. However, there is still an excess of €1,000 per claim.

Kilometers

• The minute-based rate is applied. 200 km per trip are included. The long-distance rate of €0.39 per kilometer is charged for every kilometer over this distance. 

Gasoline & electricity

• Gasoline and electricity are also included. If you still need to refuel your SHARE NOW car in between, you must first pay the costs privately. Send the receipts to hallo@share-now.com after the trip, stating the booking number, license plate number and bank details.
• After appropriate verification, which takes a little time, the costs will be reimbursed by SHARE NOW
• E-vehicles can be charged at the public charging infrastructure using a fuel card in the car. It is also possible to charge e-vehicles at several hvv switch point locations.
• Important for you to know: "Filling the tank" and charging is not incentivized at hvv switch.

Parking

• Parking in public parking lots in the business area is free of charge. Of course, you can continue to use our hvv switch points with your SHARE NOW cars.
