If you’ve forgotten something in a SIXT share, Free2move, MOIA or MILES vehicle, please contact the relevant customer service.

If you’ve found something in one of the vehicles, you can hand it in to the driver, to the central lost property office or to one of the hvv service points. You can find your nearest hvv service point here.

Items found in a MOIA shuttle vehicle should be handed in directly to the shuttle driver or to the central lost property office.

If you find any items in a SIXT share, Free2move or MILES vehicle, you can place them in the glove compartment or the boot and then inform the relevant customer service.

You can register for the hvv switch app by downloading it on your smartphone, opening it, and then simply following the instructions in the app. Please remember to confirm your e-mail address. After registering you can choose from three different options at the moment:

• hvv ticket purchases
• MOIA shuttle bookings
• SIXT share, Free2Move and MILES car rentals
• Voi eScooter rentals

The app will guide you through the purchase and booking process. You will receive a separate invoice by e-mail for each service you buy or order. More services will be added to the hvv switch app over time.

At the moment it is possible to book MOIA shuttles, SIXT share, Free2Move and MILES vehicles such as Voi eScooter and a selected range of hvv tickets using the hvv switch app. We plan to expand this offer step by step. In the long term, you’ll be able to travel using the services of all partners involved, all from this one single app. You only have to register once, then book and pay for everything using the same app.

Unfortunately not. The hvv switch app can only be used for the service region in which hvv operates, and for the mobility partners also operating within this region. There is an exception here when it comes to returning SIXT share vehicles.

We’ll guide you through the necessary steps to book a service for the first time using the hvv switch app.

• If you want to buy a hvv ticket you will need to enter your first and last name. We also need details of a PayPal account, a debit- or credit card, which we can then debit as payment for the ticket.
• If you want to book a MOIA shuttle, we’ll need your mobile number in addition to the details mentioned above.
• If you want to rent a Voi eScooter you need to be at least 18 years old.
• For SIXT share, and MILES and WeShare you must also save your registration address and driver's license data and have this information validated.

You can use the majority of hvv switch points with cars from MILES, SIXT share and Free2move to their full extent, i.e. you can rent, end a rental or stop off. However, some hvv switch points are located outside the respective business areas of the car sharing providers. Please note that rentals can only be terminated at hvv switch points that are located in the respective business area of the car sharing provider.

With cars from cambio and Dorfstromer, you can stop at all hvv switch points, but only end the rental where it was started.

Tip: The business areas of MILES, SIXT share and Free2move are displayed in the hvv switch app after selecting a car.

Currently, users of SIXT share, MILES and Free2move can use the charging stations.

SIXT share & Free2move

• Unlock the connector with the charging card from the car.
• You will find the charging card in the center console of the car, in the glove compartment or underneath the windshield, depending on the provider vehicle model.
• Then hold the card up to the reader at the station to activate it.
• Check which charging station you are in front of. There are charging ports that already have a cable. If there is no cable, use the cable from the trunk.
• Now connect the cable to the charging port and the car.
• After successful connection, a corresponding message will appear on the charging station display. Don't forget to put the charging card back in its place in the car and you're done!

MILES

You always start the charging process via the app. To do this, you must be at the car and near an available charging station.
If the charging process (depending on the charging station) requires a charging cable from the car, you will find it in the trunk. Select the desired charging station and start the charging process by clicking "Start charging". Now decide on an available charging connection. You will find the charging port number on the charging station.

Charging at the standard charging station (with its own cable in the trunk):

• First connect the cable to the car.
• In the next step, confirm whether the charging station is open. If the port does not open, select a new charging port.
• As soon as the port is open, connect the cable to the charging station (please make sure that the charging cable is already correctly plugged into the car).
• Now you can start the process by clicking on "Charge now".
• After a successful check of the charging status, the charging process is started and you can now return to the current rental by clicking "Okay".
• If you no longer wish to use the vehicle, simply end your current rental by clicking "End rental".

Charging at the quick charging station (integrated cable at the charging station):

• Connect the charging pole cable to the car.
• After the charging status has been successfully checked, the charging process is started and you can now return to the current rental by clicking "Okay".
• If you no longer want to use the vehicle, simply end your current rental by clicking "End rental".
