You can book accessible MOIA rides via the hvv switch app. MOIA has special vehicles in its fleet that offer space for one wheelchair user and up to three other passengers. For wheelchair-accessible MOIA rides, boarding and alighting are as close as possible to the entered start and destination points in order to keep the distances to the shuttle short.

There are no additional fees for a ride in an accessible vehicle. By the way, you can request a wheelchair-accessible MOIA ride for someone other than yourself, such as a family member or friend.

MOIA accessible vehicles are equipped with an electro-hydraulic rear lift for wheelchair users and a special passenger door as an electric bus swing door with an illuminated step.

You can open the shared garage with your QR code, which you will receive in the app after successfully booking. The lockers are located in the collective garage. They are therefore only accessible in combination with a parking space booking. Therefore: Make sure that the locker is located in the same collective garage as your bicycle parking space. This is how you can book a locker:

  • As soon as you click on “ Locker”, another page opens with further details about the selected B+R station.
  • The “Book locker” button takes you to the booking page, where you can choose a tariff and a collective garage.
  • After selecting the garage and tariff, you can make your booking using the swipe-to-action button.
  • Your active booking will now be displayed at the top of the app home page.

The number of the locker in the collective garage is assigned to you - unlike with the parking space.

If the booked car cannot be made available at the station or the hvv switch point, you will usually be contacted by cambio in advance.

Please check your e-mail or SMS inbox. If you have not received a notification, please contact cambio support.

The rental and thus the opening of the vehicle, as well as the ending of the rental, is carried out with the app.

You can stop at any time during the ongoing cambio rental. To lock or open the vehicle, always use the vehicle key. You can usually find this in the glove compartment.

Unfortunately not at present. Bookings are currently only possible for one unaccompanied person. Important: Wheelchairs cannot currently be transported in the autonomous shuttles.

As an alternative, the regular MOIA vehicles with driver are still available.
