Your employer will automatically delete you from the system. All you need to do to continue using hvv switch is to select or set a different means of payment within the hvv switch app.

Even though journeys with the autonomous shuttles are free of charge as part of the test operation, a valid payment method is required for all bookings in the app.

This can happen for one of the following reasons:

  • Always check the terms and conditions of your voucher. Each voucher has a clearly defined validity period. If a voucher is not redeemed within the specified validity period, it will be automatically removed from your account on the expiry date.
  • Vouchers have no remaining balance. If the voucher value exceeds the booking price when redeemed, leaving a balance, the balance will be forfeited.

If your voucher is not displayed for any other reason, please contact our customer service.

If you return the cambio car too late, this is unpleasant for the person with the subsequent booking. 

It is therefore better to book with a little buffer time so that this does not happen. Unused time is only charged at 50 percent of the time price by cambio.
If you are still late, extend your booking with the hvv switch app. If you have a follow-up booking, you will be asked to contact the cambio booking service by telephone.

The booking service will take care of everything else. Please note that there may be additional charges for late returns.

The car can be easily opened via the hvv switch app. Make sure you have Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Use the “Open vehicle” button and follow the instructions. You will find the car key in the glove compartment. In some cars, the on-board computer will ask you to enter the cambio PIN. This will be displayed in the app.

You can also easily end the rental via the app.

Refueling and charging cambio cars is very easy with a fuel or charging card.

Charging: You can charge the cambio e-cars with the charging card in the car (logbook). You can find out exactly how to do this here.

Refueling: If you urgently need fuel for your cambio car, please use the cambio fuel card. It can usually be found in the logbook and is valid throughout Europe.
Please note that charging and refueling cars at hvv switch is not rewarded with e.g. free minutes, bonus points or similar.

If the scanner at the collective garage is unable to read the QR code, try the following:

  • Tap the QR code once to enlarge the view so that the code is easier for the scanner to read.
  • Set the brightness of your smartphone display to the highest level so that the QR code is clearly visible to the scanner.

If the QR code still cannot be read, you will find a “Manual access data” button below the enlarged view of the QR code. If you click on the button, a page will open with your access data, which you can enter manually on the number pad of the collective garage. To do this, follow the steps below:

  • Press the # button
  • Enter your access data directly into the display one after the other:
    • Expiration date in the format “20241101”
    • Parking space no. “001”
    • PIN “1234”
    • Checksum “12345”

As soon as you have entered your access data correctly, you must then enter the parking space number and PIN again to open the door without pre-selecting a button. Once you have entered the correct data, the entrance door will unlock. To open the door again, you only need to enter the parking space number and PIN.
