You can either create a PayPal account by jumping out of the app or save an already existing PayPal account. For example, you can simply let us guide you through the linking process when you make your first booking in the hvv switch app. Once a PayPal account has been created, it can be managed in your account at any time.

Please contact hvv switch customer service with your specific request. We will then review whether it’s possible to grant you a refund and, if appropriate, we will reimburse you for any excess payments you’ve made.

To register for the first time, you’ll need your email address and a secure password. You’ll confirm your registration by entering the one-time code sent to you via email. You’ll then receive a confirmation email.

Depending on your mobility partner, additional information may be required in addition to your hvv switch registration. You can find out what that information is here.

• Unlock the connection with the charging card from the car. Depending on the provider's vehicle model, you will find the charging card in the car's center console, in the glove compartment or under the windscreen, or in the respective logbook for cambio cars.
• Then hold the card up to the reader at the charging station to activate it.
• Check which charging station you are standing in front of. Some charging points already have a cable. If there is no cable, use the cable from the trunk.
• Now connect the cable to the charging port and the car.
• After a successful connection, a corresponding message appears on the display of the charging station. Don't forget to put the charging card back in its place in the car and you're done!

MILES

You always start the charging process via the app. To do this, you must be at the car and near an available charging station.
If the charging process (depending on the charging station) requires a charging cable from the car, you will find it in the trunk. Select the desired charging station and start the charging process by clicking "Start charging". Now decide on an available charging connection. You will find the charging port number on the charging station.

Charging at the standard charging station (with its own cable in the trunk):

• First connect the cable to the car.
• In the next step, confirm whether the charging station is open. If the port does not open, select a new charging port.
• As soon as the port is open, connect the cable to the charging station (please make sure that the charging cable is already correctly plugged into the car).
• Now you can start the process by clicking on "Charge now".
• After a successful check of the charging status, the charging process is started and you can now return to the current rental by clicking "Okay".
• If you no longer wish to use the vehicle, simply end your current rental by clicking "End rental".

Charging at the quick charging station (integrated cable at the charging station):

• Connect the charging pole cable to the car.
• After the charging status has been successfully checked, the charging process is started and you can now return to the current rental by clicking "Okay".
• If you no longer want to use the vehicle, simply end your current rental by clicking "End rental".

Unfortunately not. You can’t cancel any hvv tickets once you’ve purchased them.

• Find a Voi e-scooter near you using the hvv switch app or scan the QR code on an e-scooter in front of you to view all the details about the e-scooter. You can open the camera for scanning by clicking on the QR code icon on the dashboard and allowing the camera to be used.
• Put one foot on the running board, put your hands on the handlebars and push your foot three to four times to get going.
• Put both feet on the running board when you're ready to accelerate and start your ride.
• Use the right lever to gain speed and the handbrake to slow down.
• Please, note that the new eScooters do not have a rear foot brake. Brake when going downhill.
• Do not exceed the speed limit of 20km/h.

You can delete your hvv switch account directly in your profile by clicking the “Cancel hvv switch account” link. Alternatively, you can use our contact form on the website or send us an email at info@hvv-switch.d. Please use the subject line “Cancellation of hvv switch account.”

If you cancel your hvv switch account, any accounts linked to it with our partners will also be automatically terminated.

Important:

If you have a StadtRAD subscription through hvv switch, it will also be canceled.

If you have an hvv Deutschlandticket subscription, it will also be terminated as part of the account cancellation, subject to the applicable cancellation terms and conditions.

If you’d like to use hvv switch and the services it offers again later, you can re-register at any time and reactivate the desired services.

If you transfer your hvv subscription to the hvv switch app, the subscription on the chip card is automatically cancelled. Your card loses its validity.
In the hvv switch app the Deutschlandticket is immediately available and can be used immediately.

To use the car sharing services, you must present a valid ID document and a valid driving license (class B) in card format. We accept driving licenses issued in the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland. Either a passport or an EU identity card can be used as an identification document for validation.

Once you have registered, open the MOIA function. You can then either use GPS to locate yourself or enter your desired pick-up point and destination. You can then request the journey. You may be asked to save additional data required for the booking in the app: To book a MOIA shuttle, you must confirm your email address, enter your first and last name, a mobile phone number and a means of payment. As soon as all the requirements have been met, you will receive several journey offers, depending on availability. You can choose between regular journeys and express journeys.

Before making a binding booking, you will be shown the relevant information, such as the price, your estimated arrival time and the pick-up and drop-off points. For express journeys, these points are already specified before booking. For regular journeys, you will first be shown a radius within the offer. You will see the exact boarding point after booking.

If you agree with the offer, you can make a binding booking for the journey. The costs will be automatically debited from your stored payment method after the journey.
