In mid-August 2026, we reset the passwords of all users with an hvv switch account for security reasons. As a result, users were required to set a new password once.
If you had already changed your password before updating to app version 2.5, you should generally still be logged in automatically.
If you were logged out anyway, simply log in via “Sign In” in your profile using your email address and your new password.
If you hadn’t changed your password before the app update, go to “Sign In” in your profile, enter your email address, and select “Reset Password.”
Then follow the instructions to set a new password.
Once you’ve successfully changed your password, you can log back into the hvv switch app with your new password.
