FAQ
General
Unfortunately, no. Voucher codes from mobility partners are only valid directly with the partners.
That depends on which transport company you were using. If you were travelling by bus or train, please enquire here to find out how you go about getting your lost property back. If you’ve forgotten something in a SIXT share, Free2move, MOIA, cambio or MILES vehicle, please contact the relevant customer service.
The following also applies to cambio: If you discover the loss within the first three days of use and are standing directly by the car you are using, please contact cambio by telephone. In addition to your name, state your license plate number and that you are a hvv switch user in Hamburg. The cambio customer service will provide you with further information.
By the way, you can also search for the lost item online at www.fundbuero.hamburg.de.
If you’ve found something in one of the vehicles, you can hand it in to the driver, to the central lost property office or to one of the hvv service points. You can find your nearest hvv service point here.
Items found in a MOIA shuttle vehicle should be handed in directly to the shuttle driver or to the central lost property office.
If you find any items in a SIXT share, Free2move, cambio or MILES vehicle, you can place them in the glove compartment or the boot and then inform the relevant customer service.

Your ticket purchased via the hvv switch app is valid immediately after purchase at the hvv community fare. The 90-second countdown after purchase indicates to inspectors whether you purchased your ticket in time before entering an area where a ticket is required.
International driving licenses are not accepted for using the car sharing services in the hvv switch app. We accept driving licenses in card format issued in the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.
We are continuing to develop our services in order to offer you an even better and simpler service. To make this possible, registration via hvv switch is currently necessary.
The hvv app was developed as a pure public transport app whose most important functions are information and ticket purchase. Today's mobility offers you much more: in addition to bus and train, car sharing, e-scooters, ride sharing and other offers in Hamburg and the surrounding area can be used. The aim of the hvv switch app is to reflect this diversity and to offer you a central and simple access to your favourite mobility.
Due to maintenance work, in rare cases you may be automatically logged out of the app. If this happens, simply log back in with your hvv switch access data. All services will then be available to you again as usual. If you have an active hvv ticket (e.g., a Deutschlandticket), the active tickets will be downloaded to your smartphone after you log in. It may take a moment for the active tickets to reappear in the app.
